Da deal with Da Salon: Hosted by the indelible (if we do say so ourselves, and we do) Shannon and Alia, with 3 fresh readers/performers joining us each month. You might even find music, visual art, food, wine.

Why Da Salon?
Writing & creating can be lonely work. So, sometimes, is life. When we come together, we catalyze both new writing and a sense of togetherness, for both artist and community.
Mission: like pressure on coal to yield a diamond, we seek to use reading/performing for a live audience to catalyze and improve our own writing. Also, to model artists self-producing in an easeful and generative way; to support artists, especially writers with a performance bent, locally; to foster joy and inspiration after a long period of social crisis (looking at you, Covid-19).
Also: it’s fun. Hooray for fun!
